It was a beautiful day in the busting metropolis of Anderson today. We had our fifth softball game. After winning our first two, we lost our last three. I was 3 for 3 hitting today, which was nice. I think I'm batting around 500 overall. I've had a couple of doubles and an in the park homerun. Unfortunately, I suck at fielding though. Nevertheless, it's pretty fun.
Tonight, Batman Begins. The return of the Batman franchise. Let's hope it turns out good. I was a big fan of the batman movies as a child, but between Forever and & Robin I aged a couple of years and was not really even interested in the latter. This new movie, however looks fantastic and it's getting good reviews. In other Hollywood news a Halo movie script has been shopped to studios and was seriously getting considered last week. I think it may have been picked up by Universal and 20th Century Fox. Will it be a good movie? I doubt it. Nevertheless, I'll probably enjoy watching it. It's got to be better than Zombiethon.
The Pistons are on in the background in the NBA Finals. A few weeks after they knocked off the Pacers. If only the Pacers were still playing. Someday, they'll make it, but it won't be the same without Reggie.
Here's a story. When I was learning to drive, my Dad felt that it was very important that I could parallel park well. He made me practice in the driveway. I was inexperienced and kept running over whatever the barriers were. When our neighbors came out of our house and started laughing at my inability I was very pissed off. Very pissed off. Now I parallel park without any problems. I think after you learn how to handle the car, parallel parking sort of becomes natural.
