"God save the King of New Orleans"

Fresh back from a quick four days in NOLA. A few highlights include a swamp tour where our guide was feeding alligators straight from his hand. Also raccoons. Neither of which were trained. Also a cool cemetary tour, the Preservation Hall Jazz band, a relaxing dinner cruise, lots of good food and a fun time hanging out with my dad. We walked the French Quarter a ton, but also about a 5 mile hike around the Garden District. Overall a pretty nice city. Quite a bit to do. Something for everyone. Our hotel was right off of Burboun Street, which is pretty much party central every night. The street is lined with bars and a band playing in almost every one.

Un semana until school starts. It's going to be a busy semester.
