"She's alone in the new pollution"

Tonight, I got out of the house and off campus for the first time since school started. I went over to Rogers to watch Big Brother, stopped by the Mall to pick up some Chinese and visited La Casa de Rosenberg to see the niece who was in town today.

We had our 2nd SIFE Interest Meeting today. Overall, we've had about 60 people the last two days. We're hoping to have at least 75 SIFE students this year, so we're getting there. On the other hand, Donut Run got 73 people tonight. I can attribute that to two things: 1) DR had a superior add campaign than SIFE. Nothing can beat door-to-door dorm room promotion. It's so simple, yet so effective. 2) We didn't have donuts at the SIFE meeting. In fact, we didn't have anything but smiling faces and a ton of information and a semi-interesting presentation.

Let's see Donut Run make it to the National Competition in Donut Running then we'll make some more comparisons.

Tomorrow night, I apparently will be spinning tunes at the Roll Arena...my dream job. I love making people listen to music that I like as should be evidenced by my CD player being just a little louder than it needs to be usually, in the car or my room. Is this rude? Absolutely. Or at least, Most Likely. Nevertheless, I feel that I am offering a service. Free good music. So I made a list of 25 songs or so that I hope to play tomorrow while others Skate. Hopefully, everyone will dig it.

And then buy all the Better Than Ezra albums on the way home.

Just Kidding.

Funny Line from Lisa - The Scene: Discussing the book "Heart of Darkness" which I read 4 years ago and vaguely remember.
Andrew: "It's about a guy who goes into the jungles of Africa looking for a colonel or somebody..."
Lisa: "You mean like a popcorn kernel? Cause I got confused when you said somebody."
