Today I was sad to hear that one of my Lady friends broke up with her boyfriend of multiple years. She even had a promise ring of sorts and everything I'd heard about this character made him sound like quite a guy - you know the type that makes the rest of us look bad because he's always giving flowers and stuff.
Anyway, apparently, she'd just had enough of something. She said to me, "How do you make it work." To which I replied, "You gotta stick like Jerry Maguire." Well, she's younger so she'd never seen Jerry Maguire because she "was like 10 when it came out." Anyway, in summary for all those who are wondering how to make it work: You just don't ever give up.
Today Rogers followed in the footsteps of Berg and had a positive conversation with a professor in that professor's office. Perhaps my proudest moment, simply because it went so well for her and with just a small step, she's undoubteddly earned the almight "Benefit-of-the-Doubt" in that professor's eyes.
That's right BlogReaders and Bloggers alike: The Benefit-of-the-Doubt is all we need to earn from professors so that we can skip class when necessary, score slightly lower than expected, miss any class and have the ability to make up missed work, and perhaps get a boosted grade at the end of the semester. Some call it sucking-up. I call it smart. The professors are not our enemies (most of the time), they are our friends. They want us to succeed. We just have to show them that we care a little bit and give some effort above and beyond the call of duty to earn the BotD.
Man the key to sustaining and presumably succeeding in Relationships and the key to succeeding in school in one Blog Update. This post has more Reader Benefits than any previous. Enjoy!

Nice work, I'll take note of both. One more benifit, could you tell me why there is a giant cameron diaz in our entry way?
