Last night, Philip walked in and out of my room during the 1:00 AM hour while I took a nap fully clothed with my hooded sweatshirt pulled tight around my face. The nap lasted until 5:38 AM, when I woke up from a nightmare where we (we being me and friends) had murdered someone and then I couldn't buy a new Nintendo. It was a wierd dream. After waking and realizing I hadn't missed class, but I also hadn't finished studying I went into my loft for another couple hours of sleep. Now tonight:
Scenario #1:
11:10 - Update Blog, Return to Studying, at 2:00 start working on paper, at 3:00AM go to sleep.
Scenario #2
11:10 - Update Blog, Return to Studying, at 12:15 start working on paper, fall asleep
Scenario #3
11:10 - Update Blog, Return to studying, fall asleep while studying at 11:40.
I'll let you know what happens. In theory, I could be up all night trying to learn this crap, as it is my last serious bit of homework until Finals week.
CDs to Listen to While Studying _ Rilo Kiley _ New Pornographers _ Gin Blossoms _ (then one more) _ then sleep.
Love, Berg

Scenario #4
11:30 - Allow Philip to easily distract me
12:30 - Allow for distraction again
12:49 - Tell Philip I won't go to Walgreens because I have to study
12:51 - Continue not studying
1:12 - Contemplate huffing carb cleaner
1:20 - Allow Philip to walk into my room to find me staring blankly at my CD rack and moving Marilyn Monroe
Of course...Scenario #4, combined with one of the others that involved me studying a lot and writing paper is what actually happened.
Let's put it this way: I live by the rule that your brain can only focus well for 15 minutes at a time. After that, I take a break. Heck, sometimes I take two...or I scale that number back to about 5 minutes.
I can write for hours, but study? Well I can study for hours too, but it looks a lot like Scenario #4.
