"Throw your arms around my neck"

Tonight was Lasagna night for the first time and boy was it good. Three pieces and several hours later, I'm still feeling quite full. Rogers is becoming quite the Cook. She's now tried probably about 10 meals, and all have been good, although that Bourbon chicken did taste a little to Bourbony! (still good though)

My name was in the Wall Street Journal today for winning the Wall Street Journal award. Maybe I'll post a picture, as Lisa's going to scan it in for me tomorrow. There were also about 200 other names, but it is still pretty cool.

Did you know that my company is laying off 3% of its workforce. Luckily none of that 3% includes me. It's fascinating to be a part of a huge public company that's primary focus is maximizing shareholder value. This and other changes have helped boost our stock a couple of dollars over the past few days...too bad, I'm not eligible for Stock Options until next year.

Currently listening to:

Pete Yorn - musicforthemorningafter and Nightcrawler - if you've never listened to Pete Yorn nows the time to go to myspace and see what you think.

My mix tape currently has these songs on it:

Ray LaMontagne - Empty, Be Here Now, Lesson Learned
Pete Yorn - Undercover, Ice Age, The Man, EZ, and On Your Side

My Golfing Wife

My Crowded Bed

My Graduation Day

Things I miss today:

  • Disney World
  • The feeling that tomorrow night, I'll be going to a Midnight Movie, which makes the day awesome
  • The feeling of seeing Texas Chainsaw Massacre on one such night
