"Same old dollar days"

After a brief stint in Michigan and an even briefer stint in Anderson (during which I'll update my blog and sleep), I'm headed down to Gatlinburg. Wilbe, you meeting me down there? It was really really great hanging out with you all on Saturday on the home turf. Thanks for posting the pictures, Shannon. Dress-up Dinner was fun.

Things to consider:

• Driving to Anderson until 1 a.m. works out OK if you're singing along to old favorites (and have a Monster energy drink).
• Saved By the Bell is on TBS every morning from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. You can thank me for that tip later after you start looking forward to getting up in the morning to watch SBTB like you used to look forward to getting home from school to watch SBTB.
• Watching the Colts on Monday Night Football beginning at 11 p.m. is a bad idea on a work night.
• This vacation is way overdue -- two days ago, I couldn't even remember my own Social Security number.
• Next time you ask what day it is, follow it up with "but what year is it?" That makes everything seem much more dramatic and chances are some heavy music might just start playing from the heavens -- especially if your face is one of complete shock when you get the answer.
• I take the rollbar in between the clickers on the mouse for granted.
