"Wouldn't it be something if everything changed"

I feel pretty sick for me. I have a head cold of sorts - seems sort of like allergies. But it makes me feel like crap and just want to lay around. Today was a good day. Work, dinner with friends, Pacers game and some Halo.

Reggie Miller's career is officially over. Tonight the Pacers lost in game 7 of the second round of the playoffs against Detroit. The good news. The guy went out on top. Reggie scored 27 points and had 4 three pointers including one with less than 2 minutes to go that brought the score to within 3. They couldn't pull it out though. Reggie has provided countless thrilling moments for us over the years. What a great career. I was so glad he had a classic Reggie game as he retires. Many people in the crowd were tearing up as he waved goodbye for the last time.

Peter Lyon has been coming over quite a bit since school's been out. It's been nice to sort of reconnect with a childhood friend. We used to go to each other's houses and things like that in elementary school and perhaps some in middle school, but as the years went by we sort of lost contact. We had a class together last semester and worked on some projects together. Since then he's come over to the Lounge quite a few times to watch Star Wars or the Pacer's games. It's been very nice.

FLL: Jason is discussing David Copperfield shows.
Jason: Did you see the one where he walked through the great wall of China?
Lisa: What's the Great Wall? Like the Restaurant?
