During the day I have a lot of thoughts, but when I get to the blog they all run away. That's okay, I suppose. Today was not a great day, as I was very tired all day and had four classes.
After bio lab and an hour of trying to work, I went to get my haircut. Unfortunately my debit card would not work for some reason, thus I was left with no way to pay for my haircut. I guess there wasn't much of an option so the lady let me go to the bank. Unfortunately the bank had just closed so I was forced to use the ATM, which again wouldn't give me any money. I definately didn't have the $11 necessary at the Lounge, but I thought one of my roommates must be home and have some Cash. Fortunately, George did. Fortunately more, Lisa called right after I collected from George to tell me she would take me back and pay for it. So finally I walk back in and my fiance pays for me, which was very nice of her. I hope she doesn't want me to pay her back by paying for her haircut. Girls hair cuts are like $100 or something. At least $50. I guess I'll be buying Pizzas and Chinese for us for a couple of weeks after I get paid again.
So now I'm going to watch the last 45 minutes of Halloween and try to get a good night's rest as I've only been sleeping about 5 hours the last two nights. I generally try to get 6-7. Ah, I remember the first week of college when I went to bed at Midnight and I thought it was awesome to stay up that late. Remember high school when we used to have to get up before 7:00a.m. everyday? Neither do I. I can't imagine trying to do that now.
My new favorite show is The Office. Everyone should check it out at least once although its tagline is "A show not for everyone." I've only seen 1.5 episodes, but so far it seems really funny. So it could definately take a downhill turn, but we'll see. Brick from Anchorman is the main character. In Tuesday's episode the Office had Diversity Day. The group had sessions on racism. Here's what the boss (Brick) had to say: "Abraham Lincoln once said, 'If you are a racist, I will attack you with the North.'"

"Right there a song became a soundtrack for this space and time"
What song are you listening to right now? Do you remember when you first heard that song? Do you remember when you most memorably heard that song? I was thinking today about what songs I'm going to put on my Winter/Spring Mix that will remind me of this time in my life whenever I pop it in. It looks as though there will be a Postal Service song or two. Also some Frou Frou. Perhaps some Iron & Wine. Other than that it's a little up in the air. A few other songs that have been songs of the day may make their way onto the mix.
I heard about the idea on the Almost Famous DVD. Cameron Crowe said he made mix tapes every month and without fail he's transported back to that time in his life. I know the feeling and want to be able to replicate it in the future. I want to be transported back to my memories of college. Not much in life is as bittersweet or special as a sweet memory of yesterday (well actually longer ago than yesterday, but that sounded nicer than alternative choices).
So I discovered that I can draw life lessons from Halo. Just as I mentioned yesterday that a good Halo player is one who makes good choices and then executes effectively a good liver is one who makes good choices and then executes effectively. And when I say liver I am referring to one who lives rather than an internal organ used for secreting bile.
Maybe I'll draw some more life lessons from Halo in the future. In the meantime choose wisely and execute!

"Stop me if you heard it all before"
Man, I just wrote this long post and it didn't save... so here it goes again.
There are two key parts to Halo. The choices that you make. This includes weapon selection, which direction to go, and how to best outwit and outplay your opponent. Second execution. If you make good choices and execute effectively you will be a much better player than those who only do one well. Personally, I feel that I make decent choices. I generally have a plan and know what I want to do and I feel that I am decent at guessing my enemies' plans. But I'm not that great of an executer. I lose one on one battles all the time that I should be able to win. Execution just takes practice. Making good choices has a bit to do with intuition and also a lot to do with practice.
So we played Halo for a few hours tonight. I took the "Criticize the player who is using the rockets" strategy. It always sucks when someone starts making fun of you for using the rockets. I know because it happens to me occasionally. It sort of makes you feel like an inferior player, thus at times you may want to choose another weapon to prove that you don't NEED the rockets, your only using them because its convenient. So tonight I started criticizing Phil everytime he shot me with a rocket and sometimes when he wasn't using them. The goal was to encourage him not to use them so that I could! He has become a bit of a rocket whore recently anyway, so it wasn't completely unmerited. I did manage to work him up a little bit as he talked back a few times and told me he didn't want to hear anymore whining. Nate later called me a Baby for using the rockets. (Yes, regardless as to whether Phil ever considered not using them, I did manage to monopolize them a great deal of the night) Perhaps no one else sees the humor in making fun of others and then doing the exact same thing, but it seemed to work out okay at least. I had fun blowing the crap out of them, when I wasn't dying. And we won over half the games.
The way I see it is use the weapons Bungie gave you. It is a perfectly legitimate strategy to pick up those rockets the whole stinking game. Why would you not use the weapon that best helps you win the game? To prove that your a better player? Heck if you win, that makes you better at least for that game. If nothing else your strategy is better than theirs, although they may have more skill. Yeah, it can be annoying to get blown up over and over again, but in my opinion its a perfectly legitimate strategy. The rockets are there for the using so use away!

"Music is worthless unless it can make a complete stranger break down and cry"
Happy Easter! Today was a nice day to eat and celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. I had 4 meals and lots of Easter Candy. I proceeded to write a paper and play Halo for a few hours on-line. There are 9 new maps coming out for Halo 2 in the next 3-4 months. How exciting!
Church today was nice as it tends to be on most Easters. Lisa and I spent a lot of time talking about our impending marraige. Trying to figure out stuff about dogs, church and where we might live.
My meals consisted of 1) Waffles and Yogurt + some candy 2) French Toast and Bacon 3) Turkey, Mashed Potatos, Macaroni-Cheese, Cake, Bread etc. 4) Hacienda. I also mixed in a lot more chocolate throughout the day. I eat a little too much sometimes. Tomorrow I shall run it off I guess. Well at least some of it. I guess I'm going to bed soon as I feel pretty tired.

"Consider the odds, consider the obvious"
Well last night at about 4:30 a.m. as I was drifting off to sleep after a long, busy and fun day, I realized I hadn't updated my blog. I was too tired to get out of my loft so I missed the update for the first time in like 60+ days. Oh well. I did think it would be cool to never miss for like a full year, but it would have been hard to do.
Yesterday consisted of lunch with Lisa & Cathy & Phil, asking for donations for Teetering for Tots, concert, mall food, Kohl's (Olde School Zelda T-Shirt) & Poker & Election (very funny movie). It was a Good Friday (literally).
Today consisted of hanging out with Rogers, and spending time with my family. Tomorrow is Easter and Noel, Chris, and Julie are in town so I decided to spend the night at home. After everyone went to bed I watched the Ashlee Simpson Show then cut my fingernails. Ah...the home life!

"I boil my head in a sense of humor"
Today was like a Friday as we have off of school tomorrow for Good Friday. I went over to Lisa's for a few hours, but then we got in a fight of sorts and I left on bad terms, which always sucks only to be compounded by my leaving parmesean cheese out at her house that her dogs got into. Which also sucks.
Then Steven and Darren came over for a little while. Darren stayed actually quite late after taking Steve home at like midnight. We played Halo and chatted. It was good to hang out with him for awhile. He says the word "Ridiculous" a lot. His meaning for it is "Really good" or so I gathered based on the context. For instance a certain musician is "ridiculous" but said musician's sense of humor is not in question. Whatever, the proper usage of the word may be it was still good to see one of my best friends from growing up. Luckily two of my best friends from growing up I get to live with!

"Say I'm tired or throw a party"
Another long day has passed. Tomorrow should be a pretty simple day and there's no classes on Good Friday so that is nice. Lisa and I got some Chinese at the mall today and brought it back to the Lounge and had a nice time that produced a couple of FLL's towards the bottom.
I'm tired so I guess I shall head to bed. I've ran the past two days and I plan on running again tomorrow. I'm trying to lose about 10 pounds by mid-July. I think I can do it too. On our Spring Break video at the ocean I really do look kind of chubby and that sucks. I don't really care too much about my current wait, but it may be nice to look really skinny again. We'll see. Plus it feels good to run.
FLL - Andrew: We'd never see any license plates from Alaska.
Lisa: We would if they took a boat.
Andrew: Or if they drove.
Lisa: It's an island.
While helping Lisa find an article that displays a perception of minorities in the media - Andrew: Find an article about black actors not getting offered good movie roles.
Lisa: (laughing) They get all the slave parts.
Song of the Day: Breath In - Frou Frou

"Are you in or are you out"
My back is peeling like crazy these days. I got burned last Friday in Naples and now my shoulders look as though I have a terrible skin disease. Well, I suppose life could be a lot worse.
Lisa is feeling better today after what seems to have been the 24 hour flu. We began watching Season 2 of the Sopranos. What an excellent show. On the other hand Pauly Shore is Dead doesn't really seem that great. I fell asleep watching it last night. Now I'm finishing it up and getting drowsy again.
One of these days I'm going to have to resume the Movie Countdown. The Blog seems as though it must be getting very boring. I guess it will be nice to look back in the future and see what was going on in my life at the time. For now, I study, watch the dumb movie and go to sleep. Adieu world.

"These secrets that we keep, we tell them in our sleep"
Lisa came down with the flu or something today. She threw up a bunch and all around had a miserable day. I feel really bad for her. Hopefully she'll be feeling better tomorrow.
Back to school wasn't too bad as I got right back into the swing of avoiding homework while seeming to work hard.
I do have a lot of stuff coming up that will be a lot of work, but for now I'll do a few sit-ups and enjoy Pauly Shore is Dead...maybe. So far it seems sort of funny.
FLL from last week: Lisa (when looking through the large Map Book) "Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine...How are these things organized?"

"Well I know there's a reason to change. Well, I know there's a time for us."
Instead of reading my Business Law book, I decided to make another post, this time lamenting or celebrating the passing of time.
(note: a thorough review of The Ring Two is in the post below this one, please do yourself a favor and read the review before going to the movie)
My friend Phil wrote in his blog that he was wondering what "The Last Summer. Ever." would hold. It really is the last real summer...before work...before marraige...before life and in six months it will all be over.
I remember two specific summers vividly. The summer between 7th and 8th grade was an excellent one for me. I had a youth trip to Tennessee that was memorable and made some new friends at Camp Challenge (Indiana Summer Camp for Church of God goers) that year as well. I just remember it being a great summer.
Last summer was also great. I remember having such a great time with all of my friends last summer.
With Lisa watching Big Brother religously and going to Fraziers for ice cream like 3 times a week.
Going to Cleveland with Lisa for my birthday to see the Gin Blossoms and Better than Ezra before seeing Dave Matthews back in Noblesville two days later.
With Shannon watching BB and the Amazing Race.
With everybody shooting fireworks, going to Coldstone, and watching movies at Josh's house: Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, The Ninth Gate and Apocalypse Now.
Going to Myrtle Beach with Josh and Ricky was a superfun time.
Even working at the FSB in the SIFE office sometimes until well after 5 seems like a good memory.
One night with Ricker and Amber we went out to Pizza Hut got some ice cream and went to a movie in Muncie. Bought a couple of cd's that night.
Going to Las Vegas with my Dad. Seeing Elton John and Cirque De Sol. Winning some money in Blackjack.
It was the best summer ever. I forgot to mention Lithuania, which took up the first quarter of the summer. I loved Lithuania.
Now the last summer of my life is knocking at the door. Can the upcoming summer be as good as the last? I won't be at home this summer. I will miss my home, my parents and they will miss me. Will I waste my summer playing video games at night instead of getting to know my friends a little better and making lasting memories? Will it really be the last summer? I'm getting married on June 24, 2006. Will we spend Friday nights with our friends after we're married? Will I ever have the feeling I get when school is out and a weight is lifted off of my shoulders?
Life is just beginning and I'm already sad that so many good times have passed.
Song of the Day: Candle in the Wind - Elton John

"I'm staring at the asphalt wondering what's buried underneath"
Today was a relaxing day. I slept in, went to Hacienda with the Roger gals, cleaned out the van and cleaned up from Break. Then went to the Ring 2 before getting take out Chinese and watching some television with Lisa. A very nice way to spend an early spring day.
I'm dreading going back to class tomorrow. The good news is we have Friday off for Good Friday.
Ring 2: The haunting tale of Naomi Watts and her eery son trying to rid themselves of the ghost of the girl who haunted them in Ring 1. If I went on for another four paragraphs repeating the first sentence over and over again you may get as bored as you would if you went to see this crap packaged as a sequel to an actually decent scarry movie. Honestly, I hate to break it to anyone looking forward to this movie (as I was), but it really did suck. If you see it and think otherwise, it will be pretty hard to convince me. It really just seemed stupid most of the time.

"The big fish eats the little one"
Yesterday, was the first time in over 55 days that I did not update my blog between a night's sleep. We traveled home from Naples from 7:30a.m. to roughly 3:30a.m. It was a long day and I was tired and forgot to update the blog.
The drive was long, but it was nice. I drover for a few hours before turning the reigns over to Josh. At this point Lisa and I moved into the Jeep with Eileen and Jason. We had a nice time chatting with them and taking turns playing songs on the IPod. Overall the drive was long, but good.
I have now had 3 college Spring Breaks. 1. the Bahamas with Josh and Brett Stewart. 2. New York City with Josh, Dan, Lisa and girls for Tri-S. 3. Naples with Josh, Lisa, Jason, Eileen, Keri, Trent, Phil, and Wilbe. I guess that means that Josh is my Spring Break buddy because he is the only person I've gone with every year. I wonder what we'll do next year.
I will surely miss Spring Breaks when I graduate from college. Lets hope I get a job that allots at least 3 weeks vacation although that is unlikely.
I stayed at home in an empty house last night after returning to avoid being around people. After a full week of being surrounded by people it was nice to read Entertainment Weekly and drift off to sleep alone in a quiet house. Mom and Dad are on a cruise, thus they are gone.

"Dye my eyes and call me pretty"
Today was a great day to get burned by the sun. I did it. Lisa did it. Trent Squatch Palmer did it. Philip did it. Eileen looks a little red. What a great burning day. It was our last day at the beach so I guess we all went all out. It was a nice week, but it went fast overall.
March Madness is on. It has been for two days. Tourney time is a great time of year. It means Spring is coming. It means great basketball around the clock. It means school will soon be out for the year and Spring Break is here (and gone).
Tomorrow will be spent driving. That is a shame. A good week it was, but all good things must end sometime in life.
I'm never one to dwell on the past, too much, but I wonder sometimes if I am setting up for a lifetime of regrets. Regrets I did one thing when I should have done another. Regrets I didn't do enough. We'll see. What a fun trip!
Song of the Day: Voodoo Porcelain - Better Than Ezra

The NCAA Tourney started today. We lounged around the house in Naples. Played a good game of Headball and Pig in the pool. It rained really hard.
Finally found the BTE Greatest Hits CD at a Barnes and Noble. We also ate the best food ever at a place called Silver Spoon or something like that. Great Spinach Con Queso.
I feel really tired so I am going to head to bed. Why oh why does Spring Break have to end? Tomorrow night at this time I'll be packing to go home.
We also got naked in the pool, which was very funny.

"You think about the good times and you live with all the bad"
Well last night Blogger wasn't working so I blogged an E-mail to myself that I will post later when E-mail is actually working.
Today was a lazy day around the house before going to see some alligators. When we got back Lisa and I went for a long walk and had a nice time and talk. Then about an hour and a half after we left we realized we were lost. About 45 minutes later we called Clod to have him pick us up, which is good because we were completely going the wrong way.
Then we played Poker for the last few hours and had a good time. Trent and I battled it out for over an hour and a half. I was up, then he was up, then we were even. He ended up wearing me down and winning with a Full House to my two pairs. Overall, I didn't play too poorly, although I definately could have won if I had played a little stronger when I was up.
What a fun night though. Only two more days in Naples....booo.

"Rhythm don't mean nothing you go with the flow"
Today was another wonderful day of Spring Break. We went to the beach and I began to actually get tanned today. Also, we went to a great ice cream shop tonight called Sweet Treats. It was fabulous.
Also played the funniest game of Balderdash I have ever been involved in. I felt like I was going to puke when one of the definitions written was "An overlook above crap." It just is an example of the tone of the game. Very funny, very fun.
We looked at both Best Buy and Target for the Better Than Ezra Greatest Hits, but no luck. Hopefully I'll find it sometime in the next couple days. We'll see.
Lisa and I had a good time playing in the ocean today. She's a great gal. Can't wait to marry her. Today we've been dating for 76 months. That is a lot.Song of the Day:

"Singing out loud when the sun came up"
This is the earliest Blog post ever! Well, I guess that's it. The BTE site and Messageboard hasn't been changed yet. I guess that was a waste of staying up ALL night. Just kidding.
Well, I guess that's it.

Our second day in Naples has also been a good day. We didn't go to the beach today. Instead we opted to do some shopping in the morning and lounge around the pool in the afternoon. I got a few books at Goodwill. Tomorrow we are going to the beach.
We played Poker tonight, and I got out right away, which sucked. I didn't play so great and I also got unlucky a couple of times. We were playing to death so I couldn't buy back in like I normally would. It looks like everyone else is about done as well.
Well Better Than Ezra's Greatest Hits comes out today. It's been a long wait. They are also launching a new messageboard and website. It seems sort of sad as I have read that Messageboard and occassionally posted on it for almost three years now. I posted 244 times. The new board should be up by tomorrow morning. The Greatest Hits cd has two songs updated and one cover. I fell in love with Better Than Ezra after At the Stars was on the radio a few times. I've liked them ever since although it took me awhile to really get into them. They've been my favorite band for a few years now. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to pick up the Greatest Hits in another day or two. We'll see.

"Right back where we started from"
Today was our first day in Naples and it was great. We went to a very good church service before heading to a wonderful lunch where I had a fabulous Lobster Quesadilla. Oh my goodness it was tasty.
We pretty much spent the rest of the day lounging on the beach and then back at the house. We swam out to a buoy where Keri Trout and I got sort of cut up when we tried to climb up on it. Overall, a great day. We spent the last couple of hours playing Mexican Train Dominoes. What a wonderful way to spend the first real day of Spring Break. I can definately take another 5 days of this.
I also ate almost a full bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs, my favorite Easter time candy. Very fattening, but very tasty. Now I have about 10 hours before I get up. It was a nice long day. I probably won't go to sleep for a little while though.

"Boys and girls welcome to this joyride"
Well, we arrived safely in Naples, Florida after a long day of driving. The house is beautiful. Amazing, heated pool. Very nice stuff. And a fast computer on which I can update my Blog afterall. The drive was long, but didn't seem too bad. I drove quite a bit. Trent and Wilbe also drove the van some.
I watched Beverly Hills Ninja on the way. The other guys also watched Anchorman and What About Bob? Phil and Wilbe played some Age of Empires as well on two laptops. It seemed pretty cool.
Apparently some guy had been shooting people in Atlanta yesterday, but they caught him today just a few hours before we were driving through so we didn't have to deal with any of the roadblocks or anything. We really didn't run into any traffic problems.
Man I rolled my clothes in my suitcase as Lisa has told me is the good way to pack. It really works well!
Overall it was a good day. It is good to be in Florida. I'm looking forward to an awesome week.

"Who knows where the road will take us"
Well tomorrow we leave for Naples. Actually in about 8 hours. It's coming fast. I will definately not be updating my Blog until I return. However, I may be journaling while I'm gone so I may retroactively update upon return. Just need to find some song lyrics for the titles of posts to.
So I'm looking forward to a Super Spring Break. The Sharpster left today for Oregon. She will be missed around these parts as she was a happy person and fun to hang out with. But she'll be back soon enough I suppose.
I saw our SIFE video for the beginning of our presentation today. It is amazing. As professional as any documentary on tv. It's going to be a fun presentation in Chapel and at our Competition.
Well time to finish packing, play a little Halo and hit the sack. In a week I hope to update with some overjoyed posts about the wonderful time we had. Happy Spring Break! I'm sure going to miss these free days off after I graduate.

"I'd trade wisdom back in for innocence"
Tomorrow is the last day of school before Spring Break. This will be my first college Spring Break driving off with a big group of friends for a whole week. My freshman year Josh, Brett Stewart, and I went to the Bahamas and had a great time relaxing on the beach, eating great food, and playing Risk 2020 every night. It was an awesome trip.
Last year Josh, Lisa, Dan and I went to New York with Tri-S with a lovely group of ladies that we didn't know. I thought the trip was awesome and it was fun to make new friends. Ask the girls and you'd think it was a trip from hell. We certainly did have some issues, but I made a lot of good memories, helped change some lives, and got to see New York City for a week. I love New York. I really do. I've been there twice, but I hope to be there many more times in the future. And we went for $115 or so. Man what a deal.
So this year we head down to Naples, Florida. The temperature is currently 58 and the highs throughout the week are mid-70s. The lows are in the high-50s. I am thinking the water may be a little frigid, but frigid does not equal no fun. I hope we have a blast. I'm sure I'll be in the water. We leave in like 28 hours or so. I can't wait to be headed to the beach. I'm reading another Marilyn Monroe death book and maybe some Stephen King.

"Turns out not where but who your with that really matters"
An interesting question was briefly mentioned in our small group tonight. Do Americans really have opportunity? Basically, the question is, how much of our life is determined when we are born? Are we trapped at birth into a certain set of pre-determined circumstances that will determine the course of our lives.
I think we are to a certain degree. However, I also think we can rise above or fall below the opportunities that are given to us at birth. My dad became a doctor when his father's best steady job was a janitor. He wanted to have a good job so he decided to go for it. If you're born and raised in the ghetto are you destined to live impoverished? I don't really think so. Sure the cards are stacked one way or another when you're born, but I still think the opportunity is there to take your life and make something out of it.
So I had 4 items of homework to do tonight, and I have finished 3 of them. I may still do the last one as well. We'll see.
Movie #19 Signs
This movie really hit with me. Sure the aliens were corny looking, but I was just blown away to discover that I wasn't watching an alien movie, I was watching a movie about everything happening for a purpose. The climax was very uplifting. Perhaps not as mind-blowing as the Sixth Sense or as artistic as Unbreakable for M. Night Shyamalan, but this is my favorite of his films to date. The story is heartfelt, intense, entertaining and moving.

"Every single one of us can find a happy face"
Well it's been a long, good day. I didn't get as much homework done as I had hoped, but in 3 days it will all be finished, and I'll be on my way to Florida. I am looking forward to it.
This semester seems to be flying by. We have about 6 weeks of school left after break. We are out for summer less than 2 months from now. I have a meeting on Thursday about an internship this summer. I hope it works out because I don't have anything lined up this summer other than my FSB job, which is only a couple of hours a week during the summer. And, as of now, I only have one vacation scheduled. Hopefully, I'll get a few more days off than that, but if I am working fulltime at least I'll make a lot of money. I'm a little in debt right now and I'm looking forward to escaping. Lisa and I may not even get to go to the DMB show this year because of our financial woes. What's the world coming to? It's very nice that my life seems to go so well that a concern is missing a concert for a band I've seen 5 times and we'll undoubtedly see quite a few more. Hopefully, my happy go lucky days will continue. I'm a pretty even-keeled happy guy so hopefully at least that will continue.
I really have become a rambler on my Blog.

"She says wake up, it's no use pretending"
Something I truly believe is that God blesses you financially if you give 10% to Him as He asks. So going into Spring Break I need at the very least $200 and I currently had in the bank about $130. I knew that God would bless me for tithing, and I also knew that I was overdue on tithing. I put in $25. Today I was blessed to receive $40 as gifts from my Mom and Grandparents. I also counted my change which I thought would be about $25 and it turns out to be right at $50. This isn't to say, I'm so great because I try to tithe, but simply a testimony to God's blessings. With my work pay coming in this week I should have about $250 for Spring Break. The Lord knows I'm not faithful in quite a few areas, like developing a relationship with Him in the first place. Nevertheless, He blesses when I tithe. Something I hope I continue to practice throughout my life.
My Grandma's brother Chester had a heart attack today. He is in the hospital. My Dad and Grandparents are going to Pennsylvania for the rest of the week. I think it would be sad to be elderly and have left your past behind to live with one of your kids. My Grandparents moved out here about 15 years ago leaving behind what had been their home for most of their lives. They only get to go back to visit every year or two. Back home people die and they read about it in the local paper they have sent out here. It's sad how life progresses and we leave things behind. It's sad how every day becomes a memory frozen in time only to be forgotten as the years go by. Then some days memories are made that are immortal. Memories that stand the test of time. Memories that remain with you all through life. Hopefully, Spring Break will become those types of memories.
So I got a 97 on my Business Law Midterm! Another blessing.

"Just relax and greener grass will grow here for a change"
A good Sunday. I stayed up late last night watching Gangs of New York and working on typing out my Business Law notes for my online Midterm today. After church I napped, then took the Midterm. I think it went really well, so that was great. I had been a little worried about it.
The rest of the day was spent finishing the Gangs of New York, going to Hacienda with the Rogers and Sharp, taking another nap, playing a little Halo, doing a little homework and watching most of That Thing You Do. What a nice way to spend a day. There is something about old PG rated comedies from years ago that makes them feel like an old friend...comfortable...fun. I watch way too much trash now. I had decent standards in High School about what I would put in front of my eyes and ears. Now I'll watch pretty much anything Hollywood puts out. One of these days my standards will go back up I suppose.
Anyway, it was a very nice Sunday. And now it's time to head to bed.
FLL - Shannon: "Why do they have headphones [on the ATM machine]?"
Lisa: "It's for deaf people."
Movie #20 Fight Club
Fight Club is simply put an excellent story. Well-written, surprising, funny, entertaining, well-acted, an all around great movie. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton do a great job. Some of the social commentary is entertaining and interesting. I saw this movie at least a couple of years after it was out. I keep meaning to read other books by the author Chuck Phulinak (spelling may be wrong). Some of his other books sound really interesting. One of these days I'll read one.

"She sits beside her"
Today we began preparing for our SIFE Presentation in Cincinatti. Also, there was an awesome article in the Herald Bulletin saying that SIFE is a godsend for Anderson and we may be just what the city needs to get back on top economically. It was a very exciting SIFE day.
Tonight Lisa and Shannon and Phil and I hung out for awhile and went to Payless and had a great time rolling down the aisles on the carts. Phil and I that is. Then we hung out for awhile back at the Lounge. One week from today at this time I will be in Naples. I'm not sure if I'll be able to update the Blog in Naples, but I may write down a paragraph or two each day and go back and do it later. We'll see. I haven't missed in over 45 days...at least missed in between a night's sleep although some updates have been two in one calendar day.
Time to finish studying for Business Law Midterm online tomorrow.

"I think I'm gonna stay home"
Tonight we celebrated Shannon's departure. Well celebrated isn't the correct word. But we had a mini-party in her honor. We went to Chili's and had a nice time. She is only going to be gone for a few months, but Lisa decided to give her somthing nice so she organized the party. Then when we came back we chatted for awhile and had an all around good time. Especially playing with the Silly Putty. Very funny.
I am now very tired and looking forward to a long evening's nap. Tomorrow should be quite uneventful. Sounds good to me.

"Everybody knows your name but they don't know who you are"
Tonight SIFE Consulting came to a close. The evening was a big success. I've been working on this for almost a year so its nice to put to rest. The evening felt like a home basketball game in high school. The "We've got to make this thing happen" feeling. And then afterwards the Congratulations from so many people. A lot of hard work on my part and the 24 students' part from SIFE Consulting has come to a close. It was a great evening. 100 People were there and The Herald Bulletin. Also, we got a soundbite and piece on Inside Indiana Business today. It was excellent. Praise the Lord!
So tonight to celebrate I'm going to see the Jacket with Adrian Brody. Also Lisa came over and we watched some Sopranos. It's been a lond day and I'm exhausted, but I really want to see the movie, so lets hope I stay awake. I was going to study, but celebration is in order.

"They spun a web for me"
Tonight my dad took me to Bonges Tavern. An unbelievable restaurant. Some of the best food I've had. They had unbelievable mushrooms. Very tasty. I loved it. I enjoy hanging out with my dad. And not just because it was a free dinner. We have nice discussions usually. I'm glad I have a good relationship with my dad. I guess I would consider him one of my best friends. A great fellow.
So now, I'm pretty tired and plan on going to Chapel tomorrow, so I guess it's bedtime. Tomorrow is the conclusion of SIFE Consulting for the year. I've been working on this thing since June so it will be a nice door to close. Let's hope it goes well. I have to MC some of the evening and I am ultimately responsible along with the INvision AU director who is a little more responsible with me simply because she's the adult. Nevertheless, lets hope for a nice evening. I don't have as much to be nervous about as the presentation teams, I guess.
So my dad and I were talking about God opening doors tonight. An interesting topic worth thinking more about at an earlier time of the day (or later).

"These thoughts I have I now claim as mine"
Once every week during the school year since college began, Lisa and I order a Papa John's Pizza. Half Mushroom, Half Sausage. $7.47 until we started getting extra peppers for Rogers so now it's $8.00 even.
The last two years it was Thursdays and we watched Scrubs and Friends, but this year Friends is over and Scrubs was moved to Tuesdays. I love those Tuesday's together. Scrubs is a simply amazing show. It is often hilarious and yet it always has a point to it that leaves you thinking "Man, that's a good point." Tonights episode was excellent. The show is being released on DVD soon, and I think I'll have to ask for it for my birthday.
I figured out my schedule for next year. It looks like everything is going to fit together well. More on that in the future.
FLL: Andrew: "Why did Piglet look into the toilet?" / "He was looking for Pooh."
Lisa: "Pigs don't eat poop."
Movie #21 The Insider
This movie starring Russell Crowe and Al Pacino deals with the big lawsuit against Tobacco companies in the mid 90s and the life of the whistle blower. An excellent drama with some intense moments, but overall just a great story. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

"Every road takes us farther from home"
Well tonight was definately an unproductive day. However, it was very productive socially as I was able to hang out with Lisa for a few hours eating lasagna and watching the Sopranos before going to Club then playing Halo for a few hours. Ricky and I played a bunch of Team Slayer games from 2 - 3 and didn't lose at all. Everyone we played pretty much sucked so that was really nice.
So Lisa's mom made us lasagna and that stuff is so good. I love eating, I really do. It is the joy in the small things that really matter. So now it's time to go to sleep until a new day dawns. It's snowing again in Indiana. Happy March Fools day everyone!
