"She says wake up, it's no use pretending"

Something I truly believe is that God blesses you financially if you give 10% to Him as He asks. So going into Spring Break I need at the very least $200 and I currently had in the bank about $130. I knew that God would bless me for tithing, and I also knew that I was overdue on tithing. I put in $25. Today I was blessed to receive $40 as gifts from my Mom and Grandparents. I also counted my change which I thought would be about $25 and it turns out to be right at $50. This isn't to say, I'm so great because I try to tithe, but simply a testimony to God's blessings. With my work pay coming in this week I should have about $250 for Spring Break. The Lord knows I'm not faithful in quite a few areas, like developing a relationship with Him in the first place. Nevertheless, He blesses when I tithe. Something I hope I continue to practice throughout my life.

My Grandma's brother Chester had a heart attack today. He is in the hospital. My Dad and Grandparents are going to Pennsylvania for the rest of the week. I think it would be sad to be elderly and have left your past behind to live with one of your kids. My Grandparents moved out here about 15 years ago leaving behind what had been their home for most of their lives. They only get to go back to visit every year or two. Back home people die and they read about it in the local paper they have sent out here. It's sad how life progresses and we leave things behind. It's sad how every day becomes a memory frozen in time only to be forgotten as the years go by. Then some days memories are made that are immortal. Memories that stand the test of time. Memories that remain with you all through life. Hopefully, Spring Break will become those types of memories.

So I got a 97 on my Business Law Midterm! Another blessing.
